Our Nashville, TN-based client is searching for an Accounting Manager. In this role, you will report to the Director of Accounting and be responsible for managing accounting staff and overseeing accounting for field offices.
Primary Duties/
Responsibilities:
Post, reconcile and close month end for various general ledger accounts and entities.
Assists with budgets and financial statement prep
Supervise staff
Work closely with AP team to ensure accruals, prepayments, and allocations are correctly booked.
Gather, prepare, and summarize general ledger data on an accrual basis to ensure accurate financial statements.
Reconcile balance sheet accounts
Accounting for capital expenses and fixed assets
Skills and
Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
Experience with General Ledger
Some supervisory experience
Demonstrates leadership potential
