RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE CONTROLLER:
The Controller will oversee job costing procedures and record keeping
Establish internal controls, including review of subcontracts, payments to vendors, bonding, and review of vendor financial statements
Calculate and manage risks
Review and generate financial statements
Supervise 1-2 accountants in the month-end closing process, including monthly reporting package with variance analysis, balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries
EXPERIENCE PREFERRED FOR THE CONTROLLER:
CPA is required

years of a public accounting and construction industry accounting experience is preferred
Advanced Excel and job costing experience is requiredEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
