The Application Management Specialist will spend the first two months on-site with the customer out of Stamford, CT. After that, he/she will be located in our Nashville, TN office.
Role Responsibilities
The role of the L2 Support Lead is to manage all aspects of Service delivery for the function or stream of work within a function for an Investment Bank
Responsible for managing a team of support analysts as part of a global support group and Supervise Support team staff
Must keep team members motivated and drive them to provide value added services to the project
Should be able to communicate effectively across the project (stakeholders/sponsors, users, change teams, developers and testers)
Requirements
8
years of related experience or Undergraduate degree and 4
years' experience
Possess Management skills and capabilities
Face-off to client Production Service Managers on Operational issues at stream level
1st Escalation point for operational issue at the Stream Level
Delivering application support within set targets or Service Level Agreements
Prioritizing, planning and managing the tasks of a technical support team
Owns: SLA/ KPI compliance for the stream, Critical Incident management for the stream, Problem management for the stream, and Knowledge management for the stream
Ensure Shift handover to next team
Manages a technical support team in a Support environment
Owns new application on-boarding/ Decommissioning and Support Transformation
Contribute to business continuity strategies and disaster recovery exercises
Continuous Service Improvements
Technical Skills: Oracle/Sybase, Unix, Shell Scripting, Java, MQ
Preferences
Technical Skills: ITIL V3, Investment Banking domain knowledge, Autosys, Perl Scripting
