Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
Requires frequent standing, walking and sitting. Repetitious finger and wrist movement, and hearing acuity. Occasionally requires climbing, crawling, reaching high and low, stooping and lifting, carrying, pulling and pushing loads of 50 lbs. Constantly requires speaking clearly, seeing both near, far and depth perception with color vision.

Ability to collaborate with local therapy sites and music therapists to maintain and increase successful practicum settings.
Ability to work collaboratively within a comprehensive School of Music.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Ability to advise, instruct, manage, motivate, and evaluate students.
Skill in the use of computers and Internet resources.
Ability to learn relevant sections of Belmont University's online integrated database systems for student records management.
Ability to successfully interact with students, other educators and educational institution representatives, and the general public in a professional manner.
Ability to work collaboratively in course design and to teach interdisciplinary and topical courses.
