Provide instruction in undergraduate and graduate commercial applied voice and related courses in performance and style, direction of vocal ensemble in the commercial genre, and other courses as needed.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
Occasionally requires standing, lifting, pulling, pushing, carrying and climbing, reaching both high and low. Frequently requires walking and balancing. Constantly requires sitting, repetitious finger and wrist movement, speaking clearly, hearing conversations, hearing (with acuity), seeing near and far with depth perception and color vision.

Ability to successfully interact with students, other educators and educational institution representatives, and the general public in a professional manner.
Experience in direction of commercial voice ensembles.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Applicants would benefit from experience in and knowledge of blues, bluegrass, contemporary Christian, country, gospel, jazz, pop, R&B; and/or rock styles, studio singing methods, music technology, commercial music production/arranging, songwriting and improvisation.
