The Systems Engineer will use their technical expertise to create and support Microsoft-based solutions and automate IT processes for deploying and maintaining our Windows services globally.
You will use AWS products and DevOps patterns in designing and building redundant enterprise level solutions to maintain Windows servers and services in a domain-agnostic environment.
We are looking for a motivated engineer to inspire our teams and deliver results to our customers.
This is a hands-on position where your daily activities will range from automating the deployment of critical systems to supporting the customers that depend on your services.

Key job responsibilitiesBuild PowerShell automations for delivering and maintaining our Windows-based servicesParticipate in, and in some cases lead, Windows Server Engineering customer-facing projectsLook for time-saving and standards-enforcing improvements to build into our productsProvide escalation-level engineering support to field teams, including membership in our on-call rotationA day in the lifeOur team works closely with IT engineers and managers at Amazon fulfillment sites to provide a suite of Windows-based services to users in the field.
We develop tools using AWS components to improve delivery, stability, and capacity of our service offerings.
These offerings include file sharing services, print services, and Windows Server deployment and configuration tools.
About the teamThe Windows Engineering team is dedicated to providing secure, automatically provisioned, highly available Microsoft Windows-based services to our stakeholders at Amazon fulfillment sites around the globe.
As a small team of engineers, we provide tools for use by Amazon IT engineers and other stakeholders to deploy the infrastructure and software required for these critical tools at Amazon sites.
We provide training, documentation, and escalation support in the use of these tools.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
