Job summaryThe Business Intelligence Engineer (BIE) is a core member of the America's Customer Service Customer Experience (CSCX) program team, who will routinely partner with our global counterparts as we engage with key business stakeholders across Amazon.
com to bring forward the voice of the customer to identify and deliver customer-impacting solutions.
Areas of concentration for the CSCX BIE could be deep diving into data related to the Amazon Marketplace customer experience when ordering and purchasing items from external sellers, the Prime Member customer experience, or opportunities within the Amazon Consumer Retail customer experience.
There is no shortage of opportunity to relentlessly advocate on behalf of our customers with data to influence and drive results.
Key job responsibilitiesDeveloping intelligent and insightful reporting on the key drivers of our business areas of focus including but not limited to Amazon Retail, Amazon & Merchant Fulfilment Networks and Concessions.
Interacting with internal stakeholders to deep-dive outlier events in Amazon customer contacts & concessions.
Enable effective decision making & process improvement by retrieving and aggregating data from multiple sources and compiling it into a digestible and actionable format, with an active role in strategic thinking about the business and opportunitiesAd-hoc project work supporting the re-invention of how we manage our business.
Explore newer/alternative technologies to scale processes and invent for our customers.
Develop tools to surface Voice of Customer to identify defects hidden in natural language documents.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
