As such, we're looking for a high-judgment communications professional to help develop strategy, messaging development, and campaigns that serve to improve transparency and response to the topics that matter most to our Operations workforce.
This person will be a tactical leader in creating well-written, impactful internal communication for highly visible topics such as career mobility, financial benefits, and DEI initiatives in North America.
The ideal candidate will be used to fast-paced work, have a strong attention to detail, have strong project management skills, is highly creative, and can operate with autonomy.
This person will also monitor and analyze data and make recommendations to support team objectives while collaborating closely with various partners across the business.
Ideal candidates will have a solid understanding of how to mitigate external and internal risk, be able to look around corners, and be one of the loudest advocates for Amazon's Operations employees.
They will take an employee-first mentality and work programmatically to ensure information impacting core elements of their employment at Amazon is clear, concise, and connects with larger themes around Amazon's hiring, retention, and development practices.
This person will sometimes have to participate in issues or crisis communications management outside of their topic area, participate in on-call rotations outside of regular working hours as needed, and will always be expected to be a team-player.
Some travel will be expected.
This role can be based out of Seattle, WA or Nashville, TN.
Key job responsibilitieso Assists in developing editorial content months in advance, working closely with business teamso Coordinates with internal teams, vendors, and agencies to develop, execute, and document career mobility, financial benefits, and DEI campaignso Develop dynamic employee stories (articles, videos, and interviews)o Write, review, and edit email communications, messages, updates, changes, announcements, etc.
o Measures results and drafts campaign recap reports for internal stakeholderso Assist with the maintenance of team internal websiteso Manages tactical plans and documents as well budgets and external resourceso Works cohesively with teams and colleagues across geographies, time zones, and business unitso Owns elements of on-site engagements and larger team development opportunitieso Develops relationships across teams and geographies to ensure they can best support the overall team mission and strategyo Participates in issues management rotations, sometimes outside of regular working hours, as needed.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
