Senior Internal Communications Manager, Executive Communications & Strategy, Operations Internal Communications
Job summaryAmazon is seeking a high-judgment, tenacious, and intuitive communications expert to join the Operations Internal Communications team.
The position will help define, strengthen, and amplify the Amazon culture and priorities by providing strategic communication counsel to senior executives, advising on programs, advocating for employees, driving thought leadership, and driving global internal communications strategy.
This role will be responsible for developing and executing communications for executives, including managing speaking events and presentations.
You will insist on high standards, have backbone, maintain a strong bias for action, and keep composure in fast-moving situations.
You will be a creative and collaborative strategic partner to the business, and will have the opportunity to create high impact communications for a world-class global operations team.
This role can be based out of Seattle, WA; Bellevue, WA; Nashville, TN; or Arlington, VAKey job responsibilitieso Partner with leadership to establish and amplify workplace culture and translate business strategy into communications.
o Define and manage an executive communications strategy.
o Develop and amplify the Amazon Operations narrative and message framework.
o Create an executive communications framework that connects other leaders to the core narrative.
o Develop innovative internal communications, clear narratives, and tactics that engage frontline employees and leaders.
o Earn trust, provide expert counsel, and effectively communicate with a wide range of internal stakeholders.
o Think and communicate clearly - formulate a clear point of view on complicated issues and create a concise and well-written narrative to express it.
o Look around corners to spot emerging topics and develop proactive plans to communication with stakeholders;o Serve as a speechwriter and content creator to senior executives, including driving the creation and delivery of compelling, executive-level presentation materials.
o Work closely with other executive communicators across the Worldwide Communications Team.
o Prepare internal strategy and messaging (sometimes on-call).
o Exercise extremely high judgment, particularly in narrow timeframes.
o Roll up sleeves and get work done, even when at times it's outside the scope of the job.
o Willingness to take risk, impeccable judgment, and high standardso Provide on-call issues communications support as needed on a rotating basis.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
