Job summaryAmazon is seeking a high-judgment, tenacious, and intuitive communications expert to join the Operations Internal Communications team.
As a Communications Manager, you'll help manage strategic internal communications for our Amazon Logistics (AMZL) business.
From helping define and strengthen the AMZL culture to counseling executives, you will be a critical advisor to driving thought leadership, advocating for employees, and delivering high impact communications for a world-class operations team.
The ideal candidate must have a strong self-starter with a bias for action, have backbone, and an ability to maintain composure in fast-moving situations.
This role can be based in Nashville, TN (preferred) or Seattle, WA with an ability to travel occasionally to other Amazon sites.
Key job responsibilitieso Partner with leadership to establish and amplify workplace culture and translate business strategy into communicationso Define and manage an executive communications strategyo Develop and amplify the AMZL narrative and message framework.
o Develop innovative internal communications, clear narratives, and tactics that engage frontline employees and leaders.
o Earn trust, provide expert counsel, and effectively communicate with a wide range of internal stakeholders.
o Think and communicate clearly - formulate a clear point of view on complicated issues and create a concise and well-written narrative to express it.
o Serve as a speechwriter and content creator to senior executives, including driving the creation and delivery of compelling, executive-level presentation materials.
o Partner with other areas of Corporate Affairs like PR and Public Policy.
o Prepare internal strategy and messaging (sometimes on-call).
o Exercise extremely high judgment, particularly in narrow timeframes.
o Manage and support crisis communications on a rotating basis, 3-5 times per year providing 24/7 on-call support for the North America crisis communications team.
o Roll up sleeves and get work done, even when at times it's outside the scope of the job.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
