What it is The Software QA Analyst will play an integral role in making sure that BerniePortal continues to be the leading HR software platform for small employers.
This will be accomplished by maintaining awareness of any weaknesses to the software as well as knowing what our customers' biggest needs are.
This is an excellent opportunity for anyone with a passion for getting into the details and solving problems.

Responsibilities Identifying and documenting improvements to BerniePortal Working with the other teams to ensure that BerniePortal is working as expected Documenting unexpected behavior Seeing those improvements and fixes to unexpected behavior through to the live production site.
This includes:
communicating with the assigned developer when necessary, QA on a testing server and on the live site Writing automated smoke tests to ensure BerniePortal is functioning from a high level Manually testing improvements to the site to ensure BerniePortal is functioning on a more specific level Ideal Candidate We are searching for a hard-working individual who has:
1-2 years of software QA experience - HR software experience preferred Bachelor's degree preferred Strong verbal and written communication skills Record of being a self-starter Ability to positively contribute to a mutually respectful work environment Strong organizational skills and exceptional ability to pay close attention to details Compensation Target compensation is $27 an hour Full health and ancillary benefits, including HSA and Dependent Care FSA Employer-paid Life, Short-Term, and Long-Term Disability insurance 401(k) with 3% employer contribution Quick Apply.
