Applying knowledge of quality assurance standards and procedures to assure that all materials processed are in compliance with all applicable requirements.
Key
Responsibilities:
Implement, manage, audit, and improve the Quality System in accordance with the Paulo Corporate Quality Manual, which conforms to, ISO or QS (NADCAP, AS, IATF 16949 per facility).
Supervise quality assurance lab personnel including training team members; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance, addressing complaints, resolving problems, rewarding, and disciplining team members.
Ensure cooperation and teamwork among production, management, sales, quality, and customers in matters relating to product quality.
Participate in customer audits and visits to customer facilities.
Understand and interpret all customer specifications and prints.
Perform contract review with the assistance of the Plant Manager, the Sales Engineer (or Product Development Manager), and the Production Manager.
Ensure that the plant is capable of performing the required process, meeting all specification and print requirements.
Review quality assurance instructions, specification and prints to determine method of conducting inspections and tests, sequence of operations and work assignments.
Assist in developing processes, which achieve the required results.
Inspect and test material to ensure adherence to customer specifications.
Review documentation and confer with inspectors, production management and engineering personnel to solve problems and to ensure that inspection requirements are met.
Generate written reports and procedures concerning activities, functions, and systems.
Apply analytical tools to determine present standards and establish quality systems.
Plan, promote, organize and/or conduct training activities related to product quality and reliability.
Locate the root cause of non-conformance and follow up and report on reprocessing of non-conforming product.
Promote and participate in an environment conducive to continuous improvement, defect prevention, production efficiency, high morale and customer satisfaction.
Maintain organized files for charts, shop orders, etc.
Monitor print files periodically to assure all prints are properly updated and organized.
Track material rejection records.
Develop and maintain good customer relations and customer complaint handling procedures.
Perform designed experiments to enhance both production and product quality.
Use computer software programs to store, calculate, retrieve, and report on quality.
Knowledge:
Bachelors' Degree in related discipline or equivalent experience.
Ability to travel for job-related meetings, conventions, training, etc.
Such travel may include overnight stays of one or more nights.
Amount of travel estimated to be 10% or less.
Experience working with Quality Management systems specifically ISO 9001, ISO 14001, AS 9100, IATF16949, CQI-9 and/or NADCAP.
Experience with internal auditing and verification.
Knowledge of corrective action closure.
Lean environment exposure, a plus.
Auditor certification, a plus.
License(s)/Certification(s) Required:
Valid drivers license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record in compliance with Paulo's Vehicle Use Policy.
Must be able to obtain a forklift certification.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
