This position is responsible for repairing and servicing supermarket refrigeration equipment to ensure customer needs are met efficiently, accurately and on-time.
DEEM, LLC is a commercial mechanical and electrical company offering HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Refrigeration, Industrial Piping, Building Automation, and Sheet Metal Installation and services.
We are centrally located in Indianapolis, Indiana with satellite offices throughout the Midwest down to the southeastern United States.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Seasoned experience working in commercial refrigeration is required Experience working in grocery stores and/or supermarkets is required Experience working on refrigeration rack systems, freezers, coolers, walk ins, reach ins, etc.
required EPA certification required Must pass drug and background screens Must possess a valid driver's license and insurable driving record Ability to document work performed and submit it in timely manner on a smart device (iPad or phone) Ability to adhere to all safety procedures Knowledge of tool/testing equipment required to perform duties in the HVAC/R service trade Must be able to maintain accurate inventory of equipment and repair parts Strong communication skills, ability to explain Refrigeration/HVAC issues and recommendations of repairs with customers Must be punctual, adhere to daily schedule and able to handle schedule changes Additional Requirements:
Must have a clean driving record and possession of valid driver's license (must be 21 or older for insurance purposes) Must be willing and able to pass a drug screen and background check Special Requirements High degree of accountability Strong interpersonal skills Highly developed verbal and written communication skills Ability to interact effectively, professionally, and collaboratively with internal and external clients Close attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to prioritize and multi-task Ability to manage multiple assignments with changing priorities
