Mgr, AMXL Middle Mile Linehaul Execution, Middle Mile Network Scheduling and Execution Team
The Amazon Extra Large (AMXL) Middle Mile Execution team is looking for a Manager III, Program Management, to manage transportation network configuration by working with different internal stakeholders and systems, to deliver desired business outcomes.
This opportunity will allow you to join a quickly growing business segment within Amazon and we are looking for a manager who is passionate about building new businesses, solving complex problems for our Customers in the Heavy Bulky business, and overall working to drive network speed, quality and Delivery Estimate Accuracy (DEA).
You will lead the team to drive accuracy and consistency in our transportation network and scheduling and also drive projects to align with program goals, partnering with leaders across the end to end AMXL vertical.
This role will involve integrating with fulfillment origins, sort center operations, and partners from other teams (internal and external) to create an optimal linehaul network.
Key job responsibilities- Manage Transportation network performance for linehaul scheduling accuracy (Reporting logic, auditing, deep dives)- Drive continuous improvement of Trailer Forecast in partnership with Trans S&OP and ATS teams- Pull and report data from numerous databases (using Excel, SQL and/or other data management systems)- Own and manage business goals for cost and quality improvements- Work across the NA organization in a cross-functional environment with the Forecasting teams, ATS Scheduling and Transportation teams- Oversee gaps between teams, processes and systems, helping teams reduce exposure to classic failure modes (e.

, requirements not sufficiently understood or documented, ineffective cross-team collaboration, insufficient stakeholder review, etc.
