Senior Program Manager, SDS Ops Excellence Program Team
Shipping & Delivery Support (SDS) provides value by combining expertise in Amazon transportation services with the scale and support infrastructure of Customer Service (WWCS) to ensure successful deliveries, gather intelligence to prevent future delivery problems, and prevent unnecessary concessions.
SDS supports recipients (e.
g.
, Amazon customers, shipping recipients) and providers (e.
g.
, drivers, shippers, Delivery Service Partners, etc.
) of Amazon Logistics (AMZL) and Global Specialty Fulfillment (GSF) delivery services with a combination of inbound, proactive, and in-station support models with the purpose of ensuring that customers receive deliveries on time and that concessions abuse is minimized.
We are a global organization that provides support for multiple marketplaces through an operational network that includes thousands of Customer Service Associates and counting.
We leverage technology including automation, self-service, associate tools, and machine learning to both resolve customer issues proactively and when contacts are required we handle them with quality and efficiency.
Key job responsibilitiesProvide project management and cross-functional support on key initiativesCreate necessary business requirements and project plan documentationSchedule periodic planning, progress, and close out meetings with project team and stakeholdersManage blocking issues, provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs, and meet committed delivery timelinesDisseminate program and strategy updates to internal and external stakeholdersInfluence and manage both peer-level and senior stakeholdersA day in the lifeYou will help project manage product and technology roadmaps, identify and communicate potential project tradeoffs, collaborate with a diverse group of international stakeholders, and create innovative ways to launch programs quickly.
This position offers broad exposure to various business, product, and technical teams within Amazon and requires excellent communication (both written and verbal) and organizational skills.
The ideal candidate is well-organized, can manage multiple projects simultaneously, and is intellectually curious.
You are comfortable operating in a fast-paced, fluid business environment with shifting priorities.
