Summary This position is responsible for overseeing scheduling and program staffing, responding to program needs of facilitators and participants.
Learns, uses, and models principles of the What Works system through evidence-based practices in all interactions with participants and other staff members.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities Coordinates program using principles of the What Works system.
Develops, implements, and monitors the program's education and treatment methodologies and documentation procedures--in alignment with contract requirements, company policies and procedures, and evidence-based principles.
Recommends new instructional materials and programs for use in the program.
Responsible for ensuring quality assurance and fidelity of all programming.
Works collaboratively to develop strategies and update and implement clinical policies and procedures.
Travels to facilities to evaluate current programs and implement and train staff in evidence-based substance abuse training.
Prepares monthly outcome reports.
Provides or arranges for staff development and training.
Responsible for working with the state to execute class schedules, maintain facilitation locations, maintains man hours performed for the facilitation of specific programming as outlined in the Contract, and any additional duties as deemed necessary by the State.
Responds to program needs of facilitators and participant population.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Business, Social Sciences, or related field.
Two (2) to three (3) years of experience in program delivery/facilitation.
Previous experience with a correctional population or criminal justice programs.
Valid state driver's license required and access to a vehicle.
Ability to interact in a professional manner in both individual and group counseling settings.
Ability to collect and analyze data and develop required related reports.
Ability to work with a team of professionals and implement team strategy approaches to work assignments Possesses a thorough understanding of the Eight Effective Principles of Intervention.
Qualified and equipped to train staff to facilitate all areas of programs specified within the contract.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work with computers and the necessary software typically used by the department.
