The Tennessee Department of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (DIDD) is looking for an Executive Admin Assistant 1 (EAA1) This executive service position will serve as Executive Administrative Assistant to the Deputy Commissioner of Fiscal and Administrative Services.
This position will work closely with Executive Leadership, and other Administrative Staff within DIDD.
The ideal candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills.
Organizational skills are also a must as the ability to balance consistent and competing priorities will be present.
This person will have the ability to manage a wide variety of assignments and maintain positive professional relationships with clients and colleagues.
This role is eligible for Alternative Workplace Solutions (AWS), which provides a hybrid work schedule with a mix of in-office and at-home workdays.
Key
Responsibilities:
Provides executive level administrative support for Deputy Commissioner.
Maintains the executive's calendar and travel arrangements.
Acts as liaison to the governor's office, legislative officials, state agencies, and other entities.
Continues personal contacts involving discussion and interpretation of policies, rules, and regulations.
Performs varied staff analyses such as:
policy analysis, organizational analysis, facilities analysis, and program analysis.
Prepares and maintains a variety of confidential records and reports of average to complex difficulty.
Collaborate with other Executive Administrative staff.
