Since our office is not open 40 hours per week full time at our office is considered 30 hours and above.
This position averages 34-37 hours per week.
Our office is a very busy, high quality, patient centered practice that does preventative, cosmetic, restorative, and reconstructive treatment.

Must have:
excellent customer service skills, outgoing personality, and possess above average multi-tasking ability.
Dental experience is not required but a very strong customer service background (server, front desk at veterinary or medical office, call center, retail) and attention to detail is required.
Must be comfortable discussing and collecting money from patients both in person and over the phone.
Duties will include:
Answering phones, checking patients in/out, verifying & entering insurance, presenting treatment plans to patients (including discussing costs with patient), sending referral forms & x-rays to specialist offices, opening & distributing mail, following up on outstanding insurance claims.
When needed, assist other front staff members fill openings in hygiene schedule and confirm any appointments not confirmed electronically.
Assist other front office staff members and office manager as needed.
Our office truly is a work family.
So much so, that based on employee requests we have adjusted our schedule to allow for themed potlucks (in the office) and family dinner (outside of the office) throughout the year.
These activities are optional, but the ideal candidate is someone who thinks these activities make for a good work environment and understands the value of working in a place that is positive, fun, and laid back.
Shift hours are 8:
00 am - 5:
00 pm (or until the last patient leaves) on Monday - Thursday (1 hour lunch), and every other Friday 7:
15 am - 12:
00 pm (on 1 of these Fridays phones will need to be answered from home (through an app) from 12 pm - 4 pm).
Please note, our Friday hours may be changing to 7:
15 am - 2:
00 pm later this year.
After 3 months, we offer paid major holidays & vacation (starting in year 1), PTO (6 days per year), a bonus plan, employee and family discount on dental care and can join 401K after 1 year of employment.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
