Senior Customs Lead

Amazon is looking for a Senior Customs Lead.
This role supports a base group of client accounts by managing a team of Customs Entry Writers and/or clients, expediting their shipments from start to finish by development of familiarity with their import programs and products; through an understanding of Customs regulations and international transportation; by coordinating file processing with team members and other Company work groups.
This position directs and coordinates superior client service delivery and production activities of defined team within our Customs Brokerage operation.
This role executes these activities in support of the established INLT Customs Services policies, goals, and objectives and in full compliance with CBP regulations.
Additionally, this individual serves as a subject matter expert for existing and new customers on CHB matters.
Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned which are client specific to satisfy special customer needs.
These responsibilities are achieved by performance of the following duties personally or through subordinate team members.
Key job responsibilities- Set operational, goals and objectives for the department- Measure and monitor results against KPI's established and hold any supervisory level colleagues accountable.
- Resolve large or complex issues, and put corrective action in place- Development of complete familiarity with client import programs and set organizational plans for the department on the handling of the specific clients, this includes the following:
- Products- Classifications and Special Customs Details- Other government agency compliance requirements- Carriers- Delivery Specifications- Billing Requirements- Special Reports- A/R Status- Client Specific needs and requirementsWe are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
