Current NeedMcKesson is seeking a Clinical Program Manager for our Precision Care Companion (PCC) segment.
The Clinical Program Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the budget, scope, progress, and team accountability of clinical programs within Innovative Practice Services.
This role involves developing project plans and schedules, managing risks and costs, and ensuring adherence to schedule and scope.
The Clinical Program Administrator will lead steering committees and meetings with BioPharma clients and oncology practice stakeholders, as well as communicate with all levels of the organization.
This role will also report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) quarterly, bridge stakeholder interests and clinical areas, and assess and develop end user, business, and service requirements.
Experience working with BioPharma and physician practices, as well as knowledge of precision medicine and/or oncology, is preferred.
Key ResponsibilitiesTakes projects from original concept through final implementation.
Develops project plans, budgets, and schedules, incorporating key milestones and deliverables.
Defines strategy, goals, and resources.
Identifies and minimizes potential obstacles and risks by developing mitigation strategies.
Monitors the program from initiation through delivery, interfacing with consortium members, physician practices, and all internal stakeholders.
Coordinates and facilitates project meetings and communications.
Organize and lead cross-functional teams, ensuring accountability and effective collaboration among team members.
Understand and manage stakeholder needs and build commitment to project solutions that deliver target business value across people, process, and technology.
Serve as primary point-of-contact for clients.
Lead steering committees and organize meetings, facilitating productive discussions and decision-making.
Maintain a high level of communication with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership; provide clear, tactful, and complete directives, realistic deliverable deadlines, and prompt feedback.
Establish tracking metrics to monitor project and team progress toward project goals.
Support business development and marketing activities as appropriate.
Act as lead resource for dealing with project issues, understand appropriate escalation process and work with the team to make decisions considering the degree of impact on areas involved.
Find potential solutions and reach agreement through flexibility and compromise with peers, customer/client, and managers.
Assists in the translation of business and clinical requirements into practical solutions with improved efficiencies that can be implemented.
Report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) quarterly, providing insights into project performance and making recommendations for improvement.
Utilize knowledge of oncology and precision medicine to inform decision-making and optimize clinical program outcomes.
Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements related to precision medicine, oncology, and clinical program management.
Minimum Requirements & EducationDegree or equivalent and typically requires 10
years of relevant experience.
Less years required if has relevant Master s or Doctorate qualifications.
Degree in pharmacy, nursing, or a licensed advanced practice provider is ideal.
MBA or advanced degree is highly preferred.

years oncology healthcare experience including experience in the provider setting.
Ability to set up, plan, manage, report and communicate projects and direct the completion of projects within proper scope, budget and schedule.
Strong understanding of clinical processes, precision medicine, and/or oncology.
Proven experience in clinical program management or a related role, preferably with experience in provider practice setting and/or BioPharma.
Excellent time management, negotiation, critical thinking, decision making, analytical and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address issues promptly.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to diverse stakeholders.
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Familiarity with budget management and financial analysis.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Additional Knowledge & Skills Proficient in using project management tools and software.
Proven experience managing many diverse projects and programs related to oncology services that have demonstrated positive results on patient outcomes preferred.
Ability to lead and inspire excellence within a team.
Results oriented, accountable, motivated, and flexible.
Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skillsDemonstrated ability to think strategically and successful conflict management strategies.
Ability to generate innovative and practical solutions to complex or unusual problems.
