The primary focus of an account specialist is to assist both lenders and appraisers with the appraisal ordering process from origination to completion of each file, for both residential and commercial properties. It is also the responsibility of the account specialist to provide all necessary documentation to the appropriate parties while maintaining a professional and efficient peer-to-peer relationship.
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for contracting Real Estate Appraisers to perform residential and commercial appraisals for nationwide Mortgage Lenders
Handle all written and verbal communication between Real Estate Appraisers and Mortgage Lenders
Ensure all appraisal requests are handled in a timely manner and any delays are properly relayed to the lender
Facilitate appraisal process and aid both parties as situations necessitate
Answer phones prepared to assist callers with any issues
Identify and communicate potential issues in order to facilitate a proper resolution
Recruit and add approved appraisers to an approved panel of qualified appraisers
Handle miscellaneous administrative duties as needed such as, but not limited to, vendor profile maintenance, compliance required tasks, and communication with lenders as vendors for general information.
Skills and Specifications
Excellent customer services and communication skills.
Must pay meticulous attention to details on multiple orders with various clients.
Ability to prioritize multiple duties but still adhere to deadlines.
Able to handle aEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
