Our client's core product is a web-based benefits administration and private exchange platform with 20,000 users across the United States. They are now seeking a PHP Developer to join their team.
Originally launched in 2008, our client recently added integrations to their platform which includes many insurance carriers and other healthcare-related companies such as BlueCross BlueShield, HSA Bank, and Allstate Benefits. Integrations with others such as UnitedHealthcare, Delta Dental, and Companion Life are expected to be completed in the fourth quarter. These integrations combined with a continually-expanding feature set make our client's platform poised for explosive growth.

As a PHP Developer, you will be tasked with enhancing our client's ground-breaking platform and actively participating in the quest to improve the lives of what is aimed eventually to be millions of people. You'll be joining a team in Nashville composed of another PHP Developer who has similar experience as well as a Senior PHP Developer. Part of the Senior PHP Developer's role is to mentor and help you grow and improve/expand your skill set.
You'll be provided with an iMac with all of the accompaniments you desire and will join a fantastic team where the atmosphere is based on respect and trust.
To be considered, you must have:
- At least two years' experience with the LAMP stack
- Experience with PHPmyadmin
- A minimum of two years' experience with Drupal CMS or a similar design pattern (our client's web application is custom PHP, with traces of a Drupal core)
- A proven track record of using SOAP and XML
- Experience taking requirements and transforming them into new features
- Experience extracting and transforming data from MySQL databases
- Experience Scripting stored procedure for file posts to FTP Servers
- A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field (or equivalent)
- Experience building 834 EDI transactions into TXT files would be a plus
Talented and friendly, as a PHP/EDI Developer, you must be team spirited with great communication skills and a focus on achieving results.
The ideal candidate will also have experience with JavaScript and HTML. Experience of JavaScript libraries such as jQuery, Dojo, Ext JS or Yui would be beneficial. Knowledge of healthcare benefits in general would be a plus, but is not required.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
