Job Description: (Only W2 Candidates)
The Verizon PMO Data (WAN/LAN) Tower Lead is a mission critical member of the PMO staff. The position directly interacts on site in Franklin, TN with our client supporting Run the Business, high visibility and complex technical issues. The Data Tower Lead meets and support presales project and operations activities. This Data tower resource performs contractual and run the business functions such as:
Primary Verizon point of contact & liaison of the WAN & LAN functions, supports the client contract. Understands and has the technical capabilities to support the SOW & contracted service components.
Coordinates and communicates with (a) the clients Change Advisory Board (CAB), (b) information Data Services Management, (c) Verizon Change Management Team, and (d) clients Infrastructure Operations.
Works with the client to identify, provide inputs and prioritize services improvements.
Manage Verizon third party vendors supporting IPAM/DNS/DHCP for delivery of operational services
When a business impacting Incident is escalated by clients or Verizons incident management teams, performs triage activities. Available as needed round-the-clock (24x7) basis. .
Manage Problems to include escalation to isolate and resolve Verizon provided services for Nissan.
Reviews and contributes to critical Root Cause Analysis for identification of cause and recommend remediation.
Manages emergency Change Management process for quick response to issues.
For projects the Data Tower Lead contributes to sales and has oversight of technical execution.
Participates in Customer Strategy & Planning, Service Management, Governance meetings and leads own weekly tower meetings.
Contributes to the maintenance of services catalog, inventories and CMDB.
Participates in negotiating, monitoring and adherence of SLAs/SLOs
Provides input in data service attributes such as performance, availability, capacity, etc.
Participates in customer data services review meetings, to identify and prioritize improvements.
