About Direct Markets:
Direct Markets specializes in providing property and casualty insurance, and Finance & Insurance (F&I) products, to the automotive industry. We have a dedicated sales force of licensed property and casualty agents and F&I professionals who meet regularly and directly with our customers.
Our Finance and Insurance Executives:
o Provide F&I products to Automotive Dealers
o Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers
o Manage an existing territory driving growth and profitability

Job Accountabilities;
Sales - 45%
1. Drives growth and profitability in assigned territory through sales related to F&I book of business.
2. Develops and maintains profitable relationships with new and existing customers.
3. Sole sales responsibility, in addition to partnering with Account Executives to achieve product density through team selling approach.
Training and Income Development - 45%
1. Provides specialized training and coaching to customers and DU personnel on F & I products and services.
2. May select, train, develop and coach F&I Account Representative, assesses performance and provides recommendations to RSM on other human resource issues e.g., salary administration and performance issues.
3. Produces and analyzes reports related to DU's and customers' F & I book of business and makes recommendations for improvements to RSM, AEs, headquarters staff and dealers on a monthly basis.
Underwriting and Administrative Responsibilities - 10%
1. Actively manages daily work processes of designated territory to achieve operational and strategic objectives.
2. Conducts field underwriting activities to ensure profitability of territory.
3. Manages budget for F&I seminars and training functions for the territory.
Job Qualifications
Basic Qualifications;
High School Diploma Or GED
4 Or More Years Of Auto Industry or selling Financial Products experience.
Preferred Qualifications;
1. Understanding of principles of sales, sales techniques, and sales terminology.
2. Advanced understanding of our industry, market and competitors.
3. Knowledge of F & I underwriting principles/techniques.
4. Knowledge of F & I business offerings plus basic knowledge of all DU products.
5. Understanding of insurance and reinsurance principles.
6. Understands principles, techniques and terminology of claims and the UUG DU Claims process.
7. Knowledge of legal and regulatory environment, specifically within area of responsibility.
8. Knowledge of DU's CORE values and code of ethics.
9. Knowledge of personal computers, Internet research techniques, company-approved software, and business system applications including customer systems.
10. Knowledge of customers' business and operations including interpretation of financial statements and administrative processes.
11. Understands financial results of DU and how the F&I Executive affects the bottom line.
12. Understands effective training and training delivery methods.
13. Knowledge of company's vision, organizational structure, culture, philosophy, operating principles, values & code of ethics.
14. Understands and applies techniques to manage multiple priorities.
15. Possesses a high level of motivation to achieve necessary involvement within a team.
16. Understands the importance of and demonstrates a commitment to personal and professional growth.
17. Outside sales experience preferred.
18. Licensed to sell insurance products in states where required.
19. Successful completion of formal F & I training a plus.
