Summary:
Comdata is seeking a Strategic Sales Representative I for the Small Fleet segment of our business. This is an entry-level, inside sales position responsible for developing new accounts, generating new revenue, and managing special sales projects within an assigned territory within the fleet industry.

Responsibilities:
Directs the development of new accounts and business relationships through sales, marketing, and referrals
Investigates and secures new revenue opportunities through evaluative consulting to create selling ideas in order to deliver cost saving and revenue generating solutions to fleet customers
Implements the accounts sold and works closely with the sales manager to develop plans to retire quota
Utilizes a detailed understanding of Comdata's systems and a basic understanding of the standards used by our target customers to work through the implementation with the customer
Reviews applications and contracts and ensures that all transactions comply with state and federal regulations
Travel is not required for this opportunity
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required
Bachelor's Degree is preferred
6 months of sales experience required

years preferred in prior business to business sales environment
Prior cold-calling experience is required
High level of personal organization with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must be detail oriented, with the ability to handle multiple assignments promptly and effectively
Must be able to manage time effectively and work independently without direct supervision
Demonstrated ability to work calmly in a fast-paced team environment while effectively managing multiple projects
Superior telephone etiquette and customer service skills are required, with the ability to react quickly and decisively to resolve customer issues
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite required
