Our client is looking for a contract Mechanical Engineer for approximately 2 months. This company designs and manufactures electric motors and complex engineering assemblies. They take pride in their ability to provide their customers with cost-competitive, value-added design solutions, supported by manufacturing of motors and sub-assemblies. Their strengths include design expertise, superior product quality and a US-Based team that includes, sales support, engineering, marketing, warehousing and accounting.
Your Role:
The Contract Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for developing concept and production designs for motorized assemblies. Primary responsibilities will include designing cover metal fabrication, gears/cams, housings, connectors, and fastening, Perform kinematic studies and stress analysis, oversee proof of concept/prototype development and testing, production process development, support factory production of all mechanisms, and perform cost out analysis.

BS Mechanical Engineering
2-3
years of related experience
Solid 3D Cad proficiency
2
years of custom engineered/OEM product development experience
