Summary:
The Nuclear Pharmacist procures, compounds, assesses, and dispenses radiopharmaceuticals.
Responsibilities:
Reviews, interprets and evaluates medication orders to identify, prevent and resolve potential or actual drug-related problems. Compounds and dispenses medications for delivery to patient care areas.
Provides drug information, consultation and education to medical staff and patients on all aspects of radiopharmaceuticals.
Manages the storage, handling, maintenance and disposal of radiopharmaceuticals to maintain drug integrity and security. Ensures compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Documents interventions and their outcomes for use in radiopharmaceutical therapy quality improvement efforts.
Education &
Experience:
One (1) year of experience or completion of ASHP accredited Nuclear Pharmacy Residency.Bachelors or Doctorate of Pharmacy required. Graduate from a College of Pharmacy accredited by the American Council on Pharmaceutical Education (ACPE). Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) preferred. Completed authorized user training in nuclear pharmacy.Licenses & Certifications:
Currently Licensed as a Pharmacist (D.Ph) in the State of Tennessee. Certification by the Tennessee Radiological Board.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
