Summary:
Write, publish and distribute technical documents, including user manuals, workbooks, reference guides, release notes, interface documents and service bulletins for software applications/hardware. Create, format and update marketing materials and company policy/procedure documentation. Maintain Documentation Department standards and follow processes throughout the software development life cycle.

Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Maintain a record of all corrections and revisions to documentation
Collaborate and confer with stakeholders to document subject material and technical specifications
Edit documentation immediately preceding delivery
Research, propose and implement customer-specific documentation solutions
Initiate improvements in documentation
Display consistent, advanced time-management ability
Comply with and improve upon document control management processes
Standardize organizational documentation
Monitor user feedback and implement improvements
Develop, gather, and disseminate technical information
Edit documentation immediately preceding delivery
Manage multiple projects with revolving deadlines
Meet all deadlines
May be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to comprehend, assimilate and document numerous software applications, hardware functionality and software/hardware integration independently
Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills
Ability to utilize multiple desktop publishing and video/still-image editing programs
Excellent grammar skills
Basic Interface Control Document, drawing, and schematic knowledge
Ability to edit, proofread and implement in-line changes
Advanced understanding of technical writing conventions
Ability to comprehend and clearly communicate complex technical data
Advanced documentation layout and formatting skills
Highly motivated, independent individual
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Two-four years of full-time work experience directly related to developing technical and/or software product information preferred
Physical Demands:
Required to sit for long periods of time
Infrequent physical effort required, ability to lift or move 25 pounds
Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse and other associated equipment
