Position Summary
The Territory Sales Associate, supports the local Territory Sales Managers in achieving the overall sales organizational goals including, sales quotas, profits and targets, increase of new customer base, key vertical segment focus and maintenance of existing customers through direct and distribution sales model.
Essential Job Functions
Key support role in working with local Territory Sales Managers (TSM) to achieve territory business objectives and sales targets.
Develop extensive knowledge/expertise with Lista/Vidmar/InnerSpace products and applying that knowledge across numerous vertical customer markets/segments.
Learn quote process and be self-sufficient in supporting territory with customer quote requirements.
Supporting local TSM by assisting in data entry, opportunity tracking and account follow-up using salesforce.
Assist in local research to develop lists of potential customer, generate leads and quotes to maintain active activity funnel.
Support TSM and inside sales on sales lead follow up and conduct cold calls to potential customers.
Support existing dealer and distributor customers to expand sales within the designated sales territory.
Support TSM on customer site surveys of new and existing customers.
Provide assistance, in limited amounts, to support customer service related issues at end user facilities.
Assists with the installation of new products within customer facilities.
Acts as a liaison between the Customer and Manufacturing Facility.
Abide by any and all Stanley Code of Conduct rules and regulations.
Manage and operate within Travel and Entertainment budget.
Essential Skills & Experience
BA/BS in related field or equivalent experience required.
Preferred 2 -5 years sales experience in industrial products or related complex commercial product sales, or healthcare sales experience
Experience with direct sales as well as through dealer/distributors seen as a positive.
Experience with selling to Cardiac Cath Lab, Radiology, Surgery, Endoscopy, Facilities and Clinical Engineering a plus.
Solution Selling skills
Knowledgeable with use of computers, MS Office products and CAD software a positive
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Self-motivated with high energy.
Proven track record of success ability to drive growth
Physical Demands & Work Environment
Must be willing and able to travel 60% of the time within assigned territory.
