Position Summary
The Inside Sales Representative will manage activities focused on expanding existing FSBP business relationships and gaining market share with new customers. The ISR will identify leads and drive sales within the building products business primarily via telephone but also using email, internet, and other technology. Responsible to serve customers by maintaining effective customer relations, developing opportunities for growth and assuring market penetration and profitability while achieving sales and profit forecasts.
Responsibilities
Responsible for handling inbound and making outbound calls, emails, and proposals to focus on expanding existing business relationships and gaining market share with new customers
Develop understanding of customers' business environments, identify their priorities, determine the most appropriate Firestone solutions, and engage with the appropriate internal resources to drive incremental adjacent sales or cross-sales
Work effectively in a coordinated effort with cross-functional sales team composed of Strategic Account Managers, Regional Business Managers, and Independent Sales Representatives
Develop and maintain effective customer relations with key decision makers such as contractors, architects, distributors, consultants, building owners, and corporate account purchasing agents
Identify new business opportunities and drive Firestone inclusion in specifications
Actively engage with sales and marketing teams to understand target markets, account assignments, sales goals, and key messaging points for assigned market
Become trusted business advisor to customers and utilize knowledge of Firestone Building Products' solutions to help customers drive profitable growth
Monitor current industry trends and how FSBP's customers are being impacted to help solve specific market challenges
Maintain technical knowledge of product and solutions and provide insight into customer usage and needs
Maintain accurate reporting and records necessary for proper management of assigned business
Qualifications
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
Ability to build trust and form productive relationships within all levels of an organization
Ability to influence and guide the customer to the best solution to help resolve their needs
Possess strong business acumen, self-motivated, and able to effectively manage multiple priorities
Strong analytical skills, able to synthesize insights from varied sets of data and identify themes
Proficient with CRM systems and strong skills in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
