POSITION
Summary:
Work as part of a highly skilled and motivated Enterprise Development team responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of SaaS based cloud solutions for the healthcare industry. Primary duties include system architecture, application design, code development, unit testing, code review, troubleshooting, defect analysis, and system maintenance.
Must be able to assist and teach others and be willing to learn from members of the team. Must be able to work in a variety of programming languages and technologies and be open to learning new skills. You must be equally capable of working collaboratively within a team and independently on your own assignments.
The ideal candidate should possess a passion for software development and truly enjoy developing high quality innovative solutions. They should welcome challenge rather than avoid it and take pride in solving problems and producing solutions. They should be actively engaged with the team and not sit in the shadows waiting to be told what to do.
Primary duties will include software design, system architecture, micro-service design and development, web frontend development, database design and process automation. The ideal candidate should be an expert in developing modern SaaS solutions end to end.

years' experience developing Java applications
5
years' experience developing frontend apps using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Experience developing SaaS applications using a n-tiered architecture
Experience with engineering solutions within AWS (AWS Certification highly desirable)
Extensive knowledge in designing and developing applications with a Micro-services architecture
Experience in managing and configuring Linux OS along with Apache http and Tomcat server
Knowledge in DevOps tools and the methods / tools for Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery
Ability to work using Agile methodologies
Knowledge in healthcare X12 EDI formats a huge plus
BS in Computer Science, Computer Programming, or other related field or comparable work experience
