Overview
The Marketing Associate will be an integral member of the Specialty team in supporting our Marketing Managers through various facets of marketing plan execution.
Specialty Publishing creates beautifully designed Gift books, devotionals, Children's books and Children's Bibles. It is a large and growing area that includes Thomas Nelson Gift books, Zondervan Gift books, Tommy Nelson Children's Books and Children's Bibles. We publish bestselling authors and brands including the Jesus Calling brand from Sarah Young; Max Lucado's gift books, devotionals and children's books; Good Good Father by Chris Tomlin; Good Bless You and Goodnight series, Dr. David Jeremiah devotionals and Airship Genesis Children's Bible, Savor by Shauna Niequest, Emily Ley, Lee Strobel, Ann Voskamp, and so many wonderful inspirational leaders.
Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities of the Marketing Associate include but are not limited to:

Responsibilities:
In consultation with Marketing Managers, execute marketing plans for children's and gift titles including ad buys, progress tracking, and creative management.
Help manage social and email marketing programs along with necessary reporting to track progress of these efforts.
Help manage creation of marketing assets (i.e. memes, banner ads, etc).
Assist in developing tactics for SEO.
Manage e-book promotional strategy and communication.
Assist in management of Tommy Nelson mommy blogger program & Jesus Calling Ambassadors.
Process galley orders.
Assist with sales conference and helps manage logistics for trade shows and other events.
Perform other support functions of childrens and gift marketing department as needed: mailings, invoices, etc.
Qualifications
Desired candidate will possess the following knowledge, experience, education and skills:
Knowledge: Digital media savvy and understands basic marketing principles
Work
Experience: 2-3 years in work force
Education: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications or related field required
Industry Knowledge: Understanding of what appeals to the Christian consumer
Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
Knowledge of social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter
Superior organizational and communication skills
Design and basic video editing skills (i.e. Photoshop, Illustrator, and iMovie) are a plus

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
