About This Role:
Forrester is looking for a highly motivated and collaborative individual to join its field marketing team. The Field Marketing Specialist is responsible for executing regional in-person and online events to drive lead generation, engage prospects, improve client retention, and close business. You will work closely with the North American sales and product teams, as well as the demand generation and content marketing teams, to develop programs that align with our buyer journey campaigns and maximize prospect engagement across the customer life cycle.
This ideal candidate is outgoing, detail-oriented, results-driven, and has a tenacious attitude to convert great customer experiences to revenue performance.
Responsibilities
Help develop annual and quarterly integrated field marketing plans in partnership with the global marketing team and regional North American sales teams to support revenue targets.
Plan and execute targeted regional in-person events throughout North America that build pipeline and drive revenue. This includes helping to define the event objectives, developing the content, building the promotional materials, managing registration, running onsite logistics, doing follow-up, and reporting results.
Plan and execute online events and webinars that build awareness and drive demand. You'll be responsible for helping to define the objectives, collaborating with the marketing and product teams on the content, developing campaigns, managing registrants, running day-of logistics, doing follow-up, and reporting results to the team to determine ROI.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure that regional plans and activities are executed and optimized across all marketing functions (social, community, PR, digital, content, creative, etc.) and direct channels (sales, product groups, etc.).
Help analyze field marketing programs using tools and pipeline metrics to ensure that financial goals of the product/geographies are achieved.
Qualifications
Has a bachelor's degree or equivalent related to business or marketing.
Has previous experience with managing in-person events, trade shows, and online events
Is a proactive communicator with a track record of strong teamwork and collaboration with all levels of an organization, along with experience in working closely with sales.
Empathizes with the prospect/customer and keeps customer experience front and center in the design and execution of field marketing activities.
Is willing to learn all marketing channel mediums and develop a strategic, integrated marketing approach.
Builds and/or applies content that is compelling and tied to customer journeys.
Uses analytics to make decisions.
Works well within diverse teams, i.e., teams composed of different skills and functions.
Is persistent and tenacious in driving results.
Is able to develop and execute events that deliver a superior experience and drive pipeline.
Is metrics-driven, detail-oriented, and has the ability to prioritize multiple projects to meet deadlines.
Is a quick, eager, and self-directed learner who is comfortable with new technologies and methodologies.
Has the ability to work intelligently in a fast-paced environment where flexibility is needed and being nimble is an advantage.
Is willing to travel 25% of the time to regional cities for events.
