IT Project Manager

The IT Project Manager is responsible for scoping and defining project requirements while coordinating activities of the project team members. Identifies appropriate resources needed, and develops schedules to ensure timely completion of project. Coordinates the activities of the team by understanding the project scope and objectives, as well as the role and function of each team member.
Key
Responsibilities:
Establish the scope of the work being requested, by defining what the project will accomplish, the benefits, risks, cost and key stakeholders
Create a robust work/project plan which identifies and sequence activities to successfully complete a project.
Manage the project schedule and report truthfully the progress of the project
Facilitate planning, implementation and stabilization activities for IT approved project initiatives.
Forecast and manage resources (time, money, equipment, etc.) required to meet project goals.
Steward the organization through IT project management processes, requirements, systems and best practices.
Coordinates and oversees all phases of the project.
Maintain a clear open and full disclosure communication with manager
Requirements:
Consistently manage financial objectives through financial requirements; preparing project budgets; monitoring expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
Foster relationships with stakeholders to work cooperatively and effectively with others to set goals, resolve problem, and make decisions that enhance organizational effectiveness.
Assess project constraints to identify root cause analysis - gather and process relevant information, generate possible solutions, and make recommendations and/or resolve the problem.
Demonstrate a sense of ownership, focusing on and driving critical issues to closure
Proactively identifies new ideas/opportunities from multiple sources or methods to improve processes beyond conventional approaches
Analytical & Communication Capabilities:
Makes Data Driven Decisions: Demonstrates strong understanding of the information or data to
identify and elevate opportunities
Develop a communication plan and establish a regular cadence for communication through the project lifecycle
Manage the communication related to changes and risks
Conduct status meetings and distribute regular project status reporting
Determine and/or establish reporting method to best foster open communication with teams and stakeholders.
Communicate Effectively - Speak, listen and write in a clear, thorough and timely manner using appropriate and effective communication tools and techniques.

Preferred Skills and
Qualifications:
Education
Undergraduate degree in a related subject plus 5 years' experience preferred
Professional designation
PMP/PMI Certification a plus
Knowledge, skills and abilities
Project Management Tools (ie Planview, MS Project)
Knowledge of project management
Knowledgeable in Project Management Methodology (ie. Agile, Waterfall, Scrum)
Versatile managing different type of projects (ie. Infrastructure, Data, Development, etc.)
Proficiency in the use of computers for:
Microsoft Office Suite
Basic Accounting
Data base management
This position requires a Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience or the equivalent.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
