To qualify at the GS-07 grade level, you must have:
A. Specialized
Experience:
One year of specialized experience which includes searching technical reports to obtain information relating to projects; and applying basic formulas to routine calculations related to water resources engineering (such as open channel hydraulics, rainfall-runoff analysis, flood hydrograph analysis, reservoir routing, dam design, water supply, or floodplain management).This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05); OR B. Education:
1-year of graduate-level education in a field of study that is related to the duties of the position or superior academic achievement; OR C. Combination of Education and
Experience:
Combinations of successfully completed graduate level education in excess of the amount required for the next lower grade level may be used to qualify applicants for this position. Determine your total qualifying experience as a percentage of the experience required for the grade level; then determine your education as a percentage of the education required for the grade the grade level; then add the two percentages. The total percentage must equal 100 percent to qualify for this position. (To compute the percentage, divide you total months of qualifying experience by 12. Then divide your semester hours of graduate education by 18. Add the two percentages. The total percentage must equal at least 100 percent to qualify). (Note:

A. Specialized
Experience:
One year of specialized experience which includes assisting in the development of technical reports to document information relating to projects; and applying formulas to calculations related to water resources engineering (such as open channel hydraulics, rainfall-runoff analysis, flood hydrograph analysis, reservoir routing, dam design, water supply, or floodplain management). This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07); OR B. Education:
2-years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree or master's or equivalent degree in a field of study that is related to the duties of the position; OR C. Combination of Education and
Experience:
Combinations of successfully completed graduate level education in excess of the amount required for the next lower grade level may be used to qualify applicants for this position. Determine your total qualifying experience as a percentage of the experience required for the grade level; then determine your education as a percentage of the education required for the grade the grade level; then add the two percentages. Experience:
One year of specialized experience which includes developing technical reports to document information relating to projects and studies relating to H&H engineering:
leading H&H technical efforts on project delivery teams; and applying formulas to calculations related to water resource engineering (such as open channel hydraulics, rainfall-runoff analysis, flood hydrograph analysis, reservoir routing, dam design, water supply, or floodplain management). This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09); OR B. Education :
3-years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. degree or Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree in a field of study that is related to the duties of the position; OR C. Combination of Education and
Experience:
Combinations of successfully completed graduate level education in excess of the amount required for the next lower grade level may be used to qualify applicants for this position. Determine your total qualifying experience as a percentage of the experience required for the grade level; then determine your education as a percentage of the education required for the grade the grade level; then add the two percentages. Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent:
Must have 52 weeks at the GS-5 for the GS-7 grade level Must have 52 weeks at the GS-7 for the GS-9 grade level Must have 52 weeks at the GS-9 for the GS-11 grade level PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The work is primarily sedentary. Some work may require periods of walking, standing, bending, climbing, or driving a motor vehicle to activities where projects are located. Employees may carry light items such as books, instruments, and other similar materials. The work does not require any special physical effort. WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The work is usually performed in an office setting. The work area normally involves everyday risks or discomforts requiring safety precautions typical of offices or meeting and training rooms. Work may involve occasional exposure to construction activities or conditions in field sites or construction sites that require normal safety precautions.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
