Process Improvement Specialist

The Security Risk Management (SRM) Team supports Amazon Worldwide Operations by providing security risk management and site risk classification support globally.
Amazon is looking for a Process Improvement Specialist to help design, develop and manage reporting and analytics that serve and support the SRM team, including risk data interpretation, risk trend analysis, and overall department initiatives.
In this position, you will support both quantitative and qualitative risk assessment processes, research risk related data and assist in development of dashboards and reporting tools support of Security Risk Management.
The specialist will participate in continuous improvement projects; document key decisions and collaborate with team members to develop project collateral and work cross-functionally with multiple business partners.
They will support internal customers as a resource with program knowledge and support development of the actions needed to resolve identified process issues and mitigate risks.
They will need to interact extensively with Global Security Operations teams groups such as Loss Prevention, DDT, Policy as well as regional stakeholders.
Excellent listening, writing, verbal communication skills are essential.
They must be detail-oriented, a quick decision maker, comfortable working with data, and have a passion for getting things right and providing high quality reports that can be used to make business decisions.
Key Job Responsibility:
Understand the complexity of business and operational processes and workflows Experience in producing data using common database query techniques Strong analytical skills to interpret large volumes of data and identify risk trends Highly advanced Excel / Tableau skills to produce data visualizations Having experience in diving deep into operational processes to identify and improve the efficiency of underperforming parts, act as a troubleshooter Incorporate improvements to established procedures/processes related to the GSRA platform and Security Risk Assessments; Gather requirements and feedback from stakeholders to develop clear, and detailed specifications to drive delivery of measurable improvement goals Ownership and end to end delivery on their part of projects Self-starter comfortable working with autonomy, and can successfully prioritize and manage multiple assignments Customer focused with the ability to approach problems logically and with good judgment to ensure the appropriate customer outcome Committed to ongoing development with an appetite to learn new skills.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
