502223 Full Stack Developer, Global Tax Platform (Solution Delivery) (Assistant Director) (Multiple Positions) (502223), Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, Nashville, TN. Implement and compose tax domain-specific capabilities to provide highly performant, scalable and valuable cloud-based solutions. Work closely with Architects and subject-matter experts to design, build, and deliver systems/applications. Ensure business functionality delivery through the composition and integration of services rather than monolithic applications, and the build-out of capabilities to provide an effective Tax Domain solutions at a global scale. Pursue and build relationships across business and IT teams to better understand the utilization and prioritization of tax application capabilities. Develop various formal and informal artifacts to communicate the design and implementation of tax domain related components and capabilities. Maintain adherence to architectural standards/principles in the context of Global Tax Platform (GTP) architecture, product-specific guidelines, and usability design. Monitor adherence to methodologies, tools and KPIs. Identify potential points of contention for missed activities, notify project leadership of a situation and provide a remediation plan. Manage and motivate teams of professionals with diverse skills and backgrounds. Consistently deliver quality client services by monitoring progress. Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Maintain long-term client relationships and networks. Cultivate business development opportunities. 30 pm. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems or a related field and 8 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate related work experience. Alternatively, will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems or a related field and 7 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate related work experience. Must have 7 years of experience designing and developing platform-level solutions. Must have 7 years of full-stack software engineering experience with C#, JavaScript and .NET, including at least 3 years of services-based development experience. Must have 5 years of experience building high-quality, cross-browser compatible, high-performance n-tier .NET web applications with IIS, SQL Server, and Transact SQL Must have 5 years of experience working in a multi-discipline, globally dispersed team. Must have 5 years of experience defining patterns and practices for REST-based services, including ensuring that REST APIs meet standards and design expectations, and working with database modeling and application teams to separate out cross cutting concerns such as BPM, logging, or ID management. Must have 5 years of experience working with security teams on API-level authorization federation (OpenID and/or OAuth). Must have 5 years of experience working with systems teams on the challenges and opportunities of high-decoupled, service-oriented systems, including eventual consistency, compensating transactions, event/pub/sub models, resiliency, and operational support Must have 5 years of experience with WCF and Web Services. Must have 5 years of experience with SOA, object-oriented programming, design patterns, and multi-threaded application development. Must have 3 years of experience with the MS/Azure technology stack. Must have 3 years of experience with software delivery processes using continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines. Must have 2 years of experience coaching and mentoring junior developers, providing direction to team members, and prioritizing personal and team workloads to best meet organizational objectives. Requires up to 10% travel, to serve client needs. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training or experience.
Salary Range:
$250K -- $500K+
