Amazon's Workplace Health and Safety team leads cross-functional projects that require collaboration and partnership with Amazon businesses, geographical units and technical subject matter experts (SMEs).
We partner with teams to inspire bold thinking, iterate on ideas, and deliver the solutions that will make Amazon the safest workplace on earth.
The purpose of communication is to engage with operations, tech, engineering and other potential partners as a means to create pathways for future partnerships to incubate tomorrow's solutions today.
This is done through strategic communication using 'pull' marketing methodology based on the stories we need to be sharing.
We are seeking a multimedia visual designer who will be responsible for operating multimedia-imaging equipment and software in order to produce visual displays and documents.
You will produce graphic artwork that is used in publications, signs, charts, posters, training and video productions.
Responsibilities Turning concepts into graphic elements, distilling technical documents into simple visual elements to aid in producing multimedia and brand development.
Creating illustrations for use in a variety of products - videos, posters, newsletters, icons, logos, web & mobile elements.
Creating illustrations using the following techniques, stylized/cartoons, pattern-making, creating die lines, following and applying brand standards to produce artwork, layout and template design, color theory.
Discussing client needs and identifying a target audience for the work Agreeing on the brief and contract with the client Developing visual ideas that suit the brief Seeking client approval for ideas with rough visuals - using drawing, sketching, storyboarding, painting and photographic skills to produce illustrations and visuals.
A portfolio review of work samples demonstrating samples of branding, illustrations, visual communication, visual reporting, print and digital collateral design, visual storytelling, and the like will be required for this role.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
