You will be responsible for developing and implementing a cohesive public relations strategy that will build, enhance and/or protect:
Schneider Electric's brand in the U.S. with a focus on positioning the company as the strategic partner for sustainability through brand and thought leadership efforts in support of businesses/end markets aimed at targeted persona audiences. Global oversight of crisis communications efforts with direct responsibility for the U.S., in collaboration with global, European and Asian counterparts. This role reports directly to the VP, Global External Communications and dotted line to the VP, North America Communications who will assign key job responsibilities and where up to 85 percent of the candidate's time and effort will be spent. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute a comprehensive media relations and thought leadership program for the U.S. comprised of:
Always-on storytelling aligned with news trends and reporter/editor interests; proactive newsjacking capitalizing on shortened news cycles; news announcements and news pitching; development of Op-eds and bylined articles for earned media placements; mining for and crafting of compelling pitches that land long-form or cover stories or broadcast segments. Build trust and credibility for a roster of executives through identifying and securing strategic speaking engagements that boost visibility and demonstrate thought leadership on topics of importance for the business Enhance Schneider Electric's brand awareness by designing and executing an awards program that solidifies the company or an individual's reputation as a trustworthy brand or thought leader, respectively Support major industry or company-owned events by performing requisite media relations or executive speaking opportunity duties as required, e.g., producing press conferences, preparing news announcements and talking points, conducting media training, managing journalist interviews, etc. Partner with paid media, social media, and internal communications teams to deliver a 360-degree approach to maximize visibility of news stories across multiple platforms and audiences Drive the Global Issues/Crisis Management approach and leads coordination in times of crisis specifically in the U.S./NAM, alongside global, Europe, Asia counterparts, ensuring issue/crisis preparedness is aligned with the overall Schneider Electric work on risk management, feeding into enterprise heat map tracking, while partnering with local comms and GR teams Engages on Reputational Issues and acts as a strategic counselor to business leaders with a focus on the U.S/NAM, partnering with global and local communications teams Act as the senior advisor in the US time zone when it comes to global issues/crisis Contribute actively on our crises handling management standard operating procedure and create and manage crisis management communication in partnership with global communications, businesses, functions and operations teams as appropriate Contribute to global and local U.S./NAM communications' team measurement and reporting of quarterly objectives We know skills and competencies show up in many different ways and can be based on your life experience. Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Communications & PREstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
