Our talented teams provide guidance over strategic planning, operations, revenue management, communications, marketing, finance, human resources, and information technology.
This position is based at the Loews Hotels & Co Business Services Center in Franklin, TN.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities Work as a liaison with FSC Managers, Directors and IT team members to review and evaluate opportunities for technical productivity improvements.
Document findings to be reviewed with Manager of Process Improvement and FSC Executive Director for prioritization (10%) Document and analyze the required information and data by researching business requirements and translating them to specific software enhancements (20%) Troubleshoot current system solutions using SQL (SSRS), with knowledge of SSMS and SSIS, Visual Basic scripts/concepts to enhance data mining and integrations (30%) Act as an interface between FSC Depts.
and Loews IT collaboration and support teams (10%) Implement new Business Intelligence reporting tool and/or find ways to automate existing reporting from FSC software applications (10%) Collaborate with management and IT to support FSC systems by implementing and managing changes to existing systems as required (20%) Supportive Functions and Responsibilities In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions:

Required:
Knowledge of Hotel accounting processes Advanced skills in MS Excel and Access Possesses advanced knowledge in the areas of application programming, database and system design.
SWL (primarily SSRS with knowledge of SSMS and SSIS) Solid mathematical aptitude and effective project management skills Ability to analyze and document complex business processes.
Excellent analytical approach and problem solving skills Ability to interact with all levels of the organization in a professional manner Understand fundamentals of accounting in a shared services/production environment Excellent ability to coordinate and prioritize daily work Strong inter-personnel skills Excellent client service skills Excellent verbal and written communications skills Ability to work in a team oriented environment Ability to work independently in a time sensitive environment Ability to maintain confidentially is mandatory Ability to communicate clearly, timely, and accurately Ability to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships Ability to organize workload, adapt quickly to change, and deliver under the pressures of deadlines Ability to operate basic office equipment Ability to work flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays Preferred:
Experience working in an accounting shared service environment Certifications in applications, databases & system design highly preferred
Qualifications Education:
BA Accounting, Finance, or Computer Science and/or equivalent work experience in a large transactional, multi-application environment
