We are in the process of growing our Enabling Technology Department , as we prepare to increase our impact and provide more individuals with technology resources that lead to increased independence, we are now looking to add a new member to the team! Responsibilities and Duties:
Working under the supervision of the Director of Systems and Technology, the Enabling Technology Specialist will work closely on innovation projects including the Medicaid Alternative Pathways to Independence (MAPs) program, Technology Implementation, The Access Initiative, The Lab, and other developing projects as become relevant.
The Enabling Technology Specialist will assist in the development and implementation of new service models, identifying the systems and quality oversight to assist in wider adoption and implementation.
Specific duties may include:
1.
Assists in the accomplishment of corporate strategic planning that achieves a high impact and significant improvement in the organizational performance in the areas of Enabling Technology, Supported Employment, and Independence Coaching as part of the MAPs program; 2.
Supports a MAPs caseload that includes:
a.
Completing and maintaining service templates; b.
Submitting templates for review; c.
Working with MillarRich Accounts Receivable for billing compliance and needs; d.
Working collaboratively with Circles of Support (COS), MillarRich departments and DIDD to accomplish goals and meet benchmarks for applicable MAPs services; e.
Working with the individual served and any other relevant departments to ensure all required and relevant information for the individual's planning meeting is prepared and/or submitted; f.
Participating in scheduled Team meetings, coordinating communication across all team members, and coordinating any emergency meetings, as applicable; g.
Providing feedback and assisting with the development of all necessary information for the individual's plan including skill acquisition programs, as applicable; 3.
Assists in the development of audit and oversight activities related to new services and pilot projects; 4.
Conducts quality and compliance reviews of caseload-specific programs and pilot records; 5.
Participates in DIDD/MCO/Statewide conversations regarding MAPs, Technology, and Independence Training; 6.
Pilots new service models that could include MAPs, Technology Training (TT), Exposure and Assessment (TEA), Technology Acquisition and Assistance (TAA), etc.
; 7.
Develops and maintains relationships with Technology Vendors and Technology Supports in the community; 8.
Maintains certification in Technology First training, ETIS through SHIFT, and any other certification identified as needed for Enabling Technology.
9.
Completes Independence Coaching Training and maintains relevant certification; 10.
Completes Supported Employment (SE) training and relevant certifications as identified as necessary.
11.
Facilitates Technology Referrals, Questionnaires and Plans; 12.
Oversees Technology Plans and Annual Updates; 13.
Maintains close collaboration with the Supported Employment (SE) department for technology and employment referrals that would be assumed within that department; 14.
Maintains close collaboration with the Adult Services (MAS) department for technology and any in-home assistance referrals that would be assumed within that department; 15.
Serves as a Lab Tech at The Lab, facilitating experiences and tours; 16.
Provides in-home support for the completion of technology training plans in Relias; 17.
Assists in the ongoing development and updates of existing technology Training Plans in Relias; 18.
Ensures that any changes in key stakeholder requirements, agency policies and procedures, and/or agency/department expectations are effectively disseminated; 19.
Other duties may be assigned as circumstances warrant.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Personal Characteristics:
A Bachelor's degree is required.
Two years' experience in position of similar scope preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to learn new computer programs and perform data entry assignments with precision and reliability.
Attention to detail is mandatory with this position.
Excellent interpersonal/human relations skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Ability to work autonomously and work flexible hours, as situations require.
Ability to plan, organize and prioritize events within the office setting.
Managing stressful situations utilizing excellent problem-solving techniques is required.

Compensation:
Starting $45,000 Paid Time Off (PTO) and Holiday Pay 100% Employee Medical Coverage, Dental and Vision coverage.
