Summary:
The Supervisor, Operations Scheduling is responsible for the operational scheduling oversight of the terminal building and ramp resources i.
e.
, the terminal ramp and remote parking areas for aircraft; terminal ticket counters and bag claim devices; airside shuttle coordination; common use technology; ground boarding ramps and flight information displays, as it relates to the safe and efficient flow of passenger and cargo activities.
Other responsibilities include supervising the scheduling team, assist with coordinating changes to the terminal environment with ongoing construction, assisting in enforcing operating rules, regulations, provisions of contracts, and agreements with emphasis on common use technology and the airline lease agreement.
Essential Job
Responsibilities:
Understands day-to-day allocations, operational constraints and resource management decisions.
Coordinates the advanced scheduling process for all commercial air carriers as well as cargo and charter activities.
Identifies, communicates and resolves forecasted, known resource conflicts up to six months in advance via verbal and written communication.
Supervises Scheduling staff during evening and weekend hours, during normal and irregular operations.
Communicates with airport tenants to include the air carriers (commercial and cargo) as well as their business partners, the Transportation Security Administration, United States Customs and Border Protection, the concessions management teams, rental car management personnel, charter operators in addition to internal personnel.
Understands and reviews raw data from the air carriers to understand resource management conflicts both landside and airside.
Identifies process improvements for the Scheduling team to include drafting training documents, policies and procedures, visual aids and communicating approved changes to the program.
Prepares staff reports and participates in staff meetings.
Interprets and enforces policies, rules and regulations and airline lease agreements, as required.
Prepares advanced planning documents for peak periods of travel to include holidays and historically busy seasons of travel for BNA.
Inspects and monitors terminal and ramp locations, and reports deficiencies to the appropriate agencies.
Follows all safety regulations.
Maintains regular and on-time attendance.

Qualifications Required:
Bachelor's Degree in Aviation, Airport Management or related field 2-4 years managing common use facilities including the scheduling of resources 4-7 years experience in airport operations at a medium or large hub air carrier airport Preferred:
2-4 years supervising staff within an airport environment 4-7 years in common use facilities, scheduling and management Job Type:
