Summary:
The warehouse worker position is a full-time, hourly position that represents a multi-skilled brewery position responsible for warehousing and supporting packaging operations.
The qualified employee must possess a minimum of the following listed skills, knowledge and experience.
The functions a packaging tech will carry out include upholding operational and quality standards during all warehousing, inbound/outbound shipment, organization, and safety procedures under little or no supervision in a timely manner and with acceptable quality.
They will be responsible for working days, evenings and very limited weekends in the brewery as needed.
The position will report directly to the Procurement Manager.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
Plan o Manage time wisely to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively o Participate in training procedures for brewing staff o Keep accurate inventory and quality management of raw materials, chemicals and finished goods.
Execute o Complete scheduled tasks in accordance with company standard operating procedures and guidelines (SOP/SOG).
o Will be cross-trained in areas of packaging.
o Assist management in creation/maintenance of warehouse and shipping/recieving SOP/GMP.
o Follow all safety procedures.
o Periodic handling of hazardous chemicals.
o Keep accurate inventory records per company and Federal Requirements.
o Continually maintain all warehouse, shipping, and storage areas including equipment - (beer cooler, hop freezer, grain racks, dry can storage, dock, as well as all walkways and driveways).
o Follow daily and weekly cleaning schedules to maintain a clean working environment.
o Assist packaging team with setting up for next day and processing/warehousing products as packaged.
o Complete accurate Bi-Monthly Finished goods inventory o Execute accurate FIFO and inventory cycling of packaging materials, empty kegs, finished goods, raw materials, and other supplies as needed and directed.
o Receive and warehouse inbound shipments in a safe and timely manner o Safely and accurately build and load outbound shipments orders on-time as directed Extracurricular o Represent Fat Bottom Brewing at company events and beer festivals.
o Continue to work on upholding and bettering internal operational policies and SOPs while helping out teammates.

Requirements:
Education o High school diploma or GED o Knowledge of beer history, production, ingredients, and tasting is advantageous, but not required.
Experience o 1
years in the brewing industry, or warehouse/production environment a plus.
o Experience with heavy machinery, brewing, shipping/receiving is a plus.
o Ability to work as part of a team.
o Forklift experience is a must, and forklift certification is huge plus.
Skills o Positive attitude and ability to communicate are critical.
o Organization, planning, and execution o Computer programs:
Microsoft Office o Autonomy, situational awareness, safety awareness, and problem solving o Physical ability (stand, lift, work in harsh conditions at both hot an cold temperatures, including movement of object weighing up to 150 pounds) Compensation:
