As the Director of Security, you will lead and oversee all aspects of our security operations, ensuring the safety and security of our property, guests, and staff.
Your strategic vision, leadership, and commitment to excellence will play a crucial role in maintaining a secure and worry-free environment for all.
Key
Responsibilities:
Work with Airport Authority as a liaison with the hotel for security reasons pertaining to the hotel and BNA Airport Authority.
Develop and implement comprehensive security strategies to safeguard the property, guests, and staff.
Provide leadership and direction to the security team, ensuring a high level of professionalism and efficiency.
Oversee the monitoring and patrolling of designated areas to prevent and detect security threats.
Coordinate routine security checks and inspections to maintain a secure environment.
Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, taking appropriate action to address and resolve them.
Ensure strict adherence to access control procedures, verifying identities and authorizations.
Report security violations, safety hazards, and unusual occurrences to authorities and supervisors.
Prepare incident reports and maintain accurate logs of security-related activities.
Collaborate with law enforcement agencies and emergency services when necessary.
Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders to enhance overall security measures.
Monitor and oversee the operation of security equipment, including surveillance cameras and access control systems.
Implement and participate in training and development programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the security team.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
Proven experience in a leadership role within the security industry.
Strong observational and communication skills.
Ability to make sound decisions and remain composed in high-pressure situations.
Physical fitness and the ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Proficiency in computer skills for report writing and security equipment operation.
Customer service orientation and a helpful demeanor.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
In-depth understanding of security protocols and procedures.
