As the Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective management of all warehouse activities.
This is a key leadership role that requires strong logistics and budgeting skills, as well as expertise in materials management and transportation planning.
Responsibilities - Oversee the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storage, inventory management, and order fulfillment - Develop and implement warehouse policies and procedures to ensure efficient and safe operations - Manage a team of warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations - Collaborate with other departments to coordinate inbound and outbound shipments - Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to optimize inventory control - Plan and execute transportation activities, including coordinating with carriers and managing transportation costs - Utilize AS400 or similar warehouse management system to track inventory and monitor warehouse performance - Implement lean principles to improve operational efficiency and reduce waste - Collaborate with procurement team to ensure timely procurement of materials and supplies - Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred) - Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar role - Strong knowledge of logistics principles and practices - Proficiency in AS400 or similar warehouse management systems - Experience in transportation planning and management - Familiarity with lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies - Excellent organizational and time management skills - Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team - Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions If you are a highly motivated individual with a passion for logistics and materials management, we encourage you to apply for the position of Warehouse Manager.
