This is a seasonal position with Metro Action Commission's Summer Food Program.
The position starts May 28, 2024, and ends July 26, 2024.

Typical Duties Assist in the preparation of daily breakfast and lunch for summer lunch program Assist in developing and reviewing daily/weekly food service menu Assist in assembling and distributing nutritional meals as coordinated by Nutrition Coordinator Assist with cleaning and sanitation of service area Assist in organizing, sorting and labeling meals per site as required Understand nutritional needs of (disadvantaged) children Responsible for monitoring and reporting equipment malfunctions Responsible for understanding, adhering and preparing quality food based on the standards and procedures of temperature controls during food preparation Maintain high standards of sanitation in kitchen and serving areas Demonstrate positive and professional work habits Assume other job related duties as requested Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or GED.
Valid Driver License Candidates with accreditations earned in a foreign institute are encouraged to apply.
