We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Security Officer to join our team.
As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and employees.
This is a vital role in ensuring the protection of our assets and the well-being of all individuals on the premises.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or unauthorized entry - Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to identify any suspicious activities or security breaches - Respond promptly to alarms and investigate disturbances - Provide assistance and support to employees and visitors in a professional and courteous manner - Enforce company policies and procedures to maintain order and safety - Perform access control duties by verifying identification, issuing visitor badges, and maintaining visitor logs - Conduct thorough investigations of incidents, accidents, or other security-related matters - Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary - Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations
Experience:
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military is preferred - Knowledge of CCTV systems, access control systems, and other security equipment - Familiarity with loss prevention techniques and practices - Strong conflict management skills to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally - Ability to perform basic first aid procedures if needed - CPR certification is a plus Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training in security procedures is a plus - Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision - Strong attention to detail and observation skills We offer competitive pay rates based on experience.
