The Environmental Water Analyst is part of the laboratory team providing water and dialysate analysis services to dialysis clinics. Prepare samples, perform testing and report results for AAMI heavy metal test procedures, heterotrophic plate counts and endotoxin detection assays.

Schedule:
Full-time, five 8-hour shifts, 9:
00am-5:
30pm; Sundays off; no overnight shifts

Responsibilities

What You Can Expect:

  • Performs high complexity testing on non-clinical and clinical samples.
  • Accessions and processes specimens for analytical testing.
  • Operates and maintains highly complex instruments such as Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry (ICP-MS) and Ion Chromatography (IC).
  • Performs high complexity testing on water samples according to AAMI, ELAP or other regulatory requirements.
  • Performs a variety of standardized microbiological tests such as heterotrophic plate counts and endotoxin assays.
  • Effectively troubleshoots equipment and testing method problems.
  • Understand instrument calibration and quality control.
  • Actively engages in proficiency testing and quality assurance programs
  • Oversees completion of maintenance records and ensures that regular preventative maintenance by manufacturer is completed timely.
  • Performs instrument and method validations.


Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
