## Description
Perform administrative and budget related duties of a complex and confidential nature in support of departmental, division or other organization unit activities, which requires a thorough knowledge of University policies and procedures. May perform complex secretarial duties. The AA II will support 5 faculty.
Experience in the following is desired:
End Notes, manuscript preparation and grant preparation. redcap survey experience is also desired.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications- excel, word, ppt
Strong communication skills (oral and written)
Must be able to pay strong attention to detail as this is essential to the position
Strong proofreading skills are needed
Must be detail-oriented
Ability to work independently or on a team
Knowledge of Vanderbilt procurement and disbursement system is a plus
Ability to work with faculty and staff from diverse backgrounds
IRB certification is needed for this position
Editorial background and familiar with EndNotes in an academic setting
## Basic Qualifications
Job requires Associates and 3 years of experience or the equivalent.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
