A large manufacturing company in Mount Pleasant, TN is looking for a detail oriented Human Resources Generalist with excellent organizational skills. The Human Resources Generalist will be working in the Human Resources department as the first contact for any employee issues. The candidate will be working with People Soft to maintain the HRIS systems, track attendance, and complete weekly and daily reports. The Human Resource Generalist will also be responsible for the timely payroll reporting to the corporate office, coordinate employee schedules with various managers, and provide answer questions for employees regarding payroll, benefits, and scheduling. The job will require administrative tasks including assisting with recruiting, working as a liaison between various managers, calculate turnover metrics, and organizing human resources records. Candidates must have experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access and have previous experience with union employees. Two or more years of office administration are required and candidates should have a bachelors degree and PeopleSoft experience.
